Selected Partners Enabled to Sell Restricted Products

A successful Intelligent Automation for Cloud partner has proven achievement in relevant cloud automation, IT service management, enterprise software customization, and data center virtualization technologies. The ATP must also be a value-added reseller with existing skills, experience, practices, and reference accounts in these areas.

The Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) program is an invitation-only program. It requires partners to have a Cisco sponsor and nomination discussion with your Partner Account Manager (PAM) before admission will be considered.

Ideal candidates would also be existing Cisco channel partners that hold the Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialization or Cloud Builder/Infrastructure designation.

Partner is strongly encouraged to develop a lab environment required for demonstration purposes, internal training, or to support customer engagements. Cisco will provide free 1-yr software license (renewable annually) for partner lab development. The demo license does not include Cisco TAC support contract, partners are strongly encouraged to purchase support contract separately.

Alternatively, the ATP partner can reserve and use an IAC BU managed lab/demo environment to fulfill the lab requirement. Scheduled lab availability is not guaranteed and resource priority will be given to support sales and Cisco field sales teams. ATP partners should consider this Cisco resource as back up to a partner owned and managed lab and demo environment.

As part of the training and mentoring program, and to best support customers of IAC products, Cisco requires that the ATP Partner include an appropriate implementation services contract with the sale of every product. Contracts are available from Cisco Advanced Services or from an approved list of qualified 3rd party Ecosystem Consulting firms. Please check with the Cisco Partner Account Manager for an active list of Ecosystem firms.

For a list of Cisco technical support services available for resale, visit the service description page at: http://www.cisco.com/go/servicedescriptions.

Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud products are restricted through New Product Hold and will not be released until an appropriate deployment services contract is in place from either an approved 3rd party Ecosystem Consulting firm or Cisco Advanced Services. After 2 successful mentored installs with the Ecosystem Consultants, the ATP Partner can choose to continue to team with Ecosystem Consulting firms for deployment, or to offer partner deployment services independently. The Ecosystem Consulting firm mentored install is a critical part of the ATP partner training process and is a foundation to ensure customer satisfaction.
