The 640-801 CCNA French certification exam was released on Friday, 9 June 2006. The 640-801 CCNA certification exam is now available in the following languages:
- English
- French
- German
- Hungarian
- Japanese
- Portuguese
- Spanish
There are two exam options for CCNA certification:
- Passing the CCNA 640-801 exam
- Passing the INTRO 640-821 exam and ICND 640-811 exam
In addition to completing the exam requirements, certification candidates are required to acknowledge the current version of the Certification and Confidentiality Agreement.
A CCNA certification is valid for three years. Certificate holders have numerous options for renewing valid certifications. Successful completion of the CCNA 640-801 or ICND 640-811 exams will extend the date that a CCNA certification is valid by three years from the exam date. Successful completion of any exam bearing the prefix 642-xxx will also renew the CCNA certification for three years from the exam date.
- Note: It is not possible to renew a certification after the expiration date has passed.
