As we continue our 10th year of success, we're pleased to announce the development of identity kits for academies, as well as a short video about the promise of ICT careers. Our community Website, Academy NetSpace, is also becoming increasingly brighter, with close to 5000 points of light! If you have not yet done so, please make sure your academy has its point of light on the map.
There continue to be new and exciting elements for us to share with you:
- Identity Kits – Our partner, Cisco Learning Institute, has graciously offered to donate to each academy a special kit of materials to reinforce the Cisco Networking Academy identity and make the classroom more attractive for our students. Representatives from each academy will receive an additional communication shortly with information about how to request a kit. We hope you will enjoy these kits, which are comprised of the following:
- One flag – identifying you as a key member of our Networking Academy community:
- Four posters – focused both on your role as “Educators of the Architects of the Networking Economy” and the opportunities your students will have as a result of this education
- One sheet of stickers – providing you the freedom to further “brand” your books and other items with the Cisco Networking Academy identity, and stimulate ideas for low-cost, fun materials to generate interest in the program.
- Short Video - We have developed a short video intended to open students’ minds to the exciting ICT careers they can have as a result of participating in the Networking Academy, in terms of both the industries and their potential roles within these industries. We are providing this video in multiple formats and sizes to accommodate your various needs. - Milestones – We have updated this section with more global milestones and will be adding regional milestones in the near future. Remember that the Milestones section allows you to highlight your participation in the Networking Academy:
- Highlighting significant events
- Recognizing our successes as a team
- Appreciating the 10-year history of the Cisco Networking Academy
