Updated CCNP Certification and New CCNP Prep Center Now Available

Comprehensive updates have been made to our premier CCNP professional-level networking certification. The new program provides you with the knowledge and skills required to deploy and maintain fully integrated network infrastructure services and applications. The updated CCNP program maintains its focus on the advanced skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, and expands to include techniques to deploy and support the wireless, voice and security applications on the network edge.

Four recommended training courses and four required exams comprise the new CCNP certification curriculum. Individuals seeking CCNP certification will be able to combine retiring exams with newer exams in order to achieve their certification. Certifications mix and match tables within Instant Answers in the Certifications Online Support will help you determine how you can combine the exams to achieve your CCNP professional-level certification.

To assist networking professionals preparing for the new CCNP, the CCNP Prep Center is now available. Open to individuals with a Cisco.com login, the CCNP Prep Center provides access to a wide variety of resources designed to help certification candidates prepare for the required exams.
