Kill the Company: End the Status Quo, Start an Innovation Revolution

This powerful session sheds light on how even category-dominating companies can succumb to the twin evils of complexity and complacency. Progress doesn't come from standing still. It's time to Kill the Company.. before someone else does. Participants will learn how to constantly reexamine their own businesses to keep innovation, and long-term success, on-track.

Lisa Bodell unveils a striking new perspective on how to create the killer culture of tomorrow. Instead of adding more complexity through expensive, sweeping culture change initiatives, Bodell shares how teams can actually simplify to achieve more. Leaders will learn why providing guardrails instead of handcuffs to their teams can reignite critical aptitudes (curiosity, inquiry, creative problem solving) and more. Rethink business as usual to reimagine the organization.

Innovating Innovation: Making Innovation an Everyday, Everywhere Capability

What company today doesn't put innovation at the top of the agenda? Yet few have devoted the energy and resources it takes to build innovation into the values, processes, and practices that rule everyday activity and behavior. No wonder. That disconnect is a product of organizational DNA – productivity, predictability, and alignment are embedded in the marrow of our management systems. But it's experimentation, risk-taking, and variety that produce game-changing innovation.

Polly demonstrates how to make every management process a catalyst, rather than a misery, for innovation.

Speaker Bio: For nearly 20 years, Polly LaBarre has worked to embolden and equip leaders in every realm of endeavor to make their organizations more resilient, innovative, inspiring, and accountable. As co-founder of the Management Innovation eXchange (MIX), Polly has built a platform to unleash in-the-trenches innovators, maverick entrepreneurs, and celebrated thought leaders to make real progress when it comes to making all organizations fundamentally fit for the future.
