Rick Justice Biography
Rick Justice is senior vice president of Worldwide Operations and Business Development for Cisco Systems.
Justice’s operations responsibilities include leading Cisco’s global sales organization, which spans five geographical regions: the United States and Canada, European Markets, Emerging Markets, Asia Pacific, and Japan. This team represents about one-third of Cisco’s employees and includes sales, systems engineering, channels and operational support. In addition, he oversees the Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), a strategic consulting arm of Cisco, Business Development and Strategic Alliances. In addition, Justice is a member of the Cisco Operating Committee, which develops and directs the company’s overall business strategy.
Justice assumed responsibility for Worldwide Operations in January 2000. He joined Cisco in December 1996 as leader of Cisco Americas Field Operations.
Before joining Cisco, Justice spent 22 years with Hewlett-Packard. His HP career included sales and marketing leadership roles, including a three-year assignment in Hong Kong leading HP’s Asia Pacific operations. His final role at HP was worldwide leader of enterprise sales.
Justice has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Stanford University. He is a member of the Santa Clara University Board of Regents.
