Q: When will I receive confirmation of my registration?

A: An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you as soon as your attendance has been approved. If you request hotel accommodations, your hotel reservation will be confirmed approximately 4 weeks prior to the conference date.

Q: What if I need to cancel my conference registration and/or hotel reservation?

You must notify the Partner Summit registration team no later than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. If the notice is less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, a hotel cancellation charge may apply.

Q: Are substitutions allowed?

A: The Cisco Partner Summit 2006 is an "invitation only" event. Each new registrant must go through the completed registration process for approval. Substitutions will only be allowed after approval by the Cisco Channels Team. This approval will happen after registration occurs and you will be notified by e-mail by the Partner Summit registration team.

Q: May I register on behalf of another person?

A: Yes, you may register another person if they have been invited to attend the event. Ensure that each eligible person is registered separately via the web registration system.

Q: Do I need to wear my badge during the entire Partner Summit event?

A: Badges must be worn during the entire event so that you can be readily identified as an attendee of the Cisco Partner Summit 2006.

Please be assured that every precaution possible is being taken to ensure a safe and secure working environment. As such, please be aware that we will ask for photo identification at registration before releasing a conference badge.

Q: May I bring a guest? What functions are guests allowed to attend?

A: Spouses or guests may only attend the Global Party and are required to wear their badges to this function. Casual attire is recommended. All meals, break refreshments, sessions, the Technology & Solutions Forum, and executive networking activities are limited to conference attendees only. Children or guests under the age of 21 will not be admitted.

Q: What sessions are available during the event?

A: Global General Sessions for the general audience will be held on the morning of Wednesday, March 15 and on the afternoon of Thursday, March 16. We will also host Theatre Sessions, dedicated to specific geographic regions, on Thursday morning. Technology and Program Breakout Sessions are scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, March 14 and 15. More information on these sessions will be provided on the registration form.

Q: What should I wear to the Partner Summit?

A: Business casual attire is appropriate for sessions and the Technology & Solutions Forum. For the Global Party, casual attire is recommended.

Q: How can I get copies of the material presented at the conference?

A: The presentations will be posted approximately one week after the Partner Summit to the website where you originally registered: http://www.cisco.com/go/partnersummit.

Q: What language is spoken?

A: The official language of the conference is English and all general sessions will be presented in English. Translation services will be provided in Japanese and Mandarin for all general sessions and designated breakout sessions.
