Keith Goodwin Biography

Keith leads Cisco’s Worldwide Channels organization, responsible for driving Cisco’s global strategy for the company’s 25,000 partners. Nearly 90 percent of Cisco products and services are sold through channel partners. These companies both develop innovative solutions – based on Cisco technology and services – as well as sell Cisco’s broad product and services portfolio to customers worldwide, extending the reach of Cisco’s sales force.

Keith’s team is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and programs that focus on improving overall profitable growth of partners’ Cisco business, as well as making it easier for partners to do business with Cisco.

Before leading Channels, Keith led Cisco’s Americas International Theatre, which includes Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central and South America. Keith grew the business more than 50 percent during his last two years in the role, making Americas International Cisco's fastest growing theatre during that time. Revenues from Advanced Technologies grew 90 percent in those two years and customer satisfaction reached an all-time high.

Keith is a veteran of Cisco’s Field organization, where he began in 1999 as Cisco’s Vice President of Operations for the Worldwide Field organization. Before coming to Cisco, Keith spent 20 years with the Hewlett-Packard Company. In his most recent role as Vice President and General Manager of Hewlett-Packard’s Worldwide Enterprise Accounts organization, he oversaw a team of 6,500 people in direct and channel sales, technical support, and partner relationships for HP’s computer systems business.

Based on his decisive yet supportive leadership style, Keith has earned a reputation as an effective leader and team builder. He believes in forging strong relationships, traveling extensively worldwide to meet with people personally.

Keith holds a B.S. in Economics and Marketing, with honors, from Central Michigan University, and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Wayne State University. He has also completed the University of Michigan Executive Program. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, skiing and running.
