Stockholm 8-10 December, Oslo 11 December

Your Exclusive Invitation

Sustainability, Innovation & Inclusion

Cisco and the City of Stockholm are pleased to invite you to the Public Services Summit 2008 to be held once again in Stockholm, Sweden beginning on Monday, 8 December. Stockholm, the city where dialogue is easy, has been the host city for the event for the past seven years. The Summit will conclude in Oslo, Norway on Thursday, 11 December. The event coincides with the Nobel Prize festivities that take place in these cities during this time period.

This unique, invitation-only event offers you the opportunity to discover how to unlock new sources of public value and deliver services in innovative and more sustainable ways.

Today we live in a fast-changing world with huge opportunities but equally large challenges. More than ever, success is dependent on innovation, but new approaches need to be environmentally sustainable and inclusive if they are to deliver prosperity over the long term. In all three areas – innovation, sustainability and inclusion – technology and specifically connectivity has a key role to play. As organizations and as individuals, we need to tap the power of the human network if we are to be truly effective.

The 2008 event theme – “Sustainability, Innovation and Inclusion” - recognizes the need for transformation in the public sector and celebrates the vision of a future where technology has enabled new types of organizations and helped to promote sustainable, inclusive communities.

Registration is now closed
