Gordon Macatee Biography
Gordon Macatee is Deputy Minister of Labour and Citizens' Services and Chair of the BC Buildings Corporation. The ministry provides a wide range of services to citizens and government, including OnLine channel delivery, Service BC offices, government IT services, and the Knowledge Network. The Ministry is also responsible for employment relations, policies and programs.
Previously, Gordon was Deputy Minister of Water, Land and Air Protection, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, and Vice President of the BC Trade Development Corporation. He has also held a variety of management positions in the private sector with Canada Packers, Maple Leaf Mills, Rogers Foods and NOCA Dairy.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and a Business Management diploma from Centralia College.
