Dr. Arnaud Hansske Biography
Dr Arnaud Hansske joined the Arras Hospital in 2001. Since, he has installed a full centred medical information system and created an integrated platform for the 'connected' medical community that now links Arras Hospital, 150 health centres and practitioners in its region and the ambulance service. The new psychiatric wing (100 beds) already benefits from this 'Connected Hospital' approach: better access to information for mobile clinical staff, enhanced patient care, increased patient satisfaction and reduction of operational and administrative costs. The next step is the fully operational digital hospital campus (600 beds) that will open in end of 2006.
Dr Hansske holds both a PhD in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics and medical informatics as well as a MSc in ICT.
His career has encompassed the transformational experience in the Montreuil-Sur-Mer Hospital (1991-2001) with the Emergency Unit and the Medical Information Unit before he headed up the Town-Hospital network.
He has been President of the North Medical Information College and a Member of the National Medical Information College.
Lately, he has been elected President of the ' Connected Hospitals' Project in the Nord-Pas de Calais region.
