Return to TopA: You will be able to make hotel reservations when the online registration tool is posted to the web site in April. You must use this tool to take advantage of special Academy hotel rates. You will receive an email when the registration site is live.
Return to TopA: The registration cost is $200 (not including airfare, hotel or other travel expenses).
Return to TopA: The agenda, including session descriptions will be available when the registration tool goes live in April 2009
Return to TopA: The attire for the conference is casual (jeans, khaki's and polo shirts, etc.). Please be advised that all rooms will be air conditioned so if you get cold easily, remember to bring a sweater or sweatshirt to keep you warm.
Return to TopA: Many sessions (including most of the technical sessions) do require a laptop computer to complete lessons. Please review the session descriptions once they are posted to the Web site to better understand the requirements.
Return to TopA: Yes, wireless will be available in the conference spaces and either a wired or wireless internet connection will be available at no charge in your hotel room.
Return to TopA: Information on airports can be found on the Event Information page for each conference location.
Return to TopA: The final agenda will be available when registration opens in April 2009. On Monday, early registration will be available for those attending pre-conference technical sessions. General registration will open by late morning and be followed by a welcome reception in the early evening. On Tuesday and Wednesday, there will be a full day of sessions each day starting at approximately 8:30am. We intend to offer special pre-conference technical sessions on Monday afternoon based on feedback from last year’s attendees. More information will be available when registration opens in April.
Return to TopA: Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday for conference attendees. Light Hors d'oeuvres will be served at the Welcome Reception on Monday so you may want to plan to have dinner on your own after the reception. We are still exploring options for dinner on Tuesday. No guests under the age of 21 will be allowed to attend the evening events due to the service of alcohol.
Return to TopA: No, there will be no on site certification testing. Academy instructors now have the option to request certification vouchers at no cost as an ongoing benefit of being a Networking Academy instructor.
Return to TopA: No, not this year. In order to make this event more affordable for our attendees, this is one of the “nice to have’s” that we elected to eliminate. We are exploring options to pre-order Networking Academy logo items for delivery on site – come back when registration opens in April for more information.
Return to TopA: Yes, shirts will be available for purchase on the registration system and can be picked up onsite at your preferred city location.
