Wireless Router lab: CCNA and Beyond

A laptop is required to participate in this session. A wireless router will be provided for each instructor. Step through the basic setup of the Linksys WRT-300N wireless router. Learn about the various wireless security features, including WEP, WPA, AES and TKIP security options. Discuss VPN and practice setting up a basic VPN connection. Understand the differences in the Linksys "n" series routers that are approved for the curriculum. Observe a working setup and demo of the new Linksys IP-based video surveillance system, including Pan/Tilt/Zoom, network attached storage and wireless VPN.
