Share best practices with instructors who have successful models to recruit and retain students in the Networking Academy. In addition, learn from a speaker from the STEM Equity Pipeline, an NSF funded project of the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity Education Foundation, which is focused on building the expertise of professional development staff working with STEM teachers. The projects' professional development efforts translate research into practice for increasing the participation and completion of women and girls in STEM career cluster programs at the secondary and community college level. This session will focus on best practices that Cisco Academy teachers can implement to help accomplish this goal and how you can get involved in the professional development activities of the STEM Equity Pipeline.
