Academy Conference 2008

Academy Conference 2008

Momentum is building after the successful launch of 13 new courses with more and more Academies adopting the new curricula. In fact, more students are now enrolled in CCNA 4.0 (CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration) than CCNA 3.1.

Are you preparing to teach one of the new curricula this fall?
Are you already teaching one of the new courses?

If the answer to either of these questions is “yes”, then you won’t want to miss Academy Conference 2008.

Why You Should Attend Academy Conference 2008!

  • Learn more about the many benefits and features of the new courses including IT Essentials PC Hardware and Software, CCNP 1-4 and CCNA Discovery 1-4 and CCNA Exploration 1-4
  • Engage and share best practices with those instructors already teaching one or more of the new courses
  • Discover how these new courses map to the most current certifications for A+, the new Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Understand the results of the recent IDC skill gap analysis completed in the U.S. and explore ways to leverage the growing need for IT professionals with the very skills that our students learn

Professional Development

Academy Conference 2008 will offer attendees valuable technical and program sessions, as well as opportunities to learn more about instructional best practices. In addition, one of the greatest values of the conference, according to our instructors and administrators, is the occasion to network with other educators, IT professionals, Cisco staff and the Academy team.

Additional Conference Highlights

  • Academy Appreciation Event
  • Return of the Cisco Store
  • 3rd annual 4R Awards
  • Fun Giveaways
  • Great opportunities to network with your peers

Please note, registration for Academy Conference 2008 opens in April, 2008 and can be accessed from this Web site.
