21st Century Schools: Transforming Education through Connected Learning |
Communication and collaboration are fundamental building blocks of education and can maximize the dissemination and retention of information. However, to enable and utilize communication and collaboration effectively, schools also need to enrich coursework, enhance flexibility, and provide rich-media tools to students and teachers. Cisco Systems is committed to utilizing Unified Communications’ Technologies for the creation of connected learning environments that enable effective communication and collaboration, such as fully interactive distance education employing video, voice and web collaboration, the usage of rich media during lessons, and securely connecting students with other students or subject matter experts worldwide, regardless of location. These are just some of the possibilities in a 21st century school whose classrooms aren’t defined by the walls. The Cisco® Connected Learning Solution allows you to do all this and more—delivering more engaging content to on-campus students and remote learners with a media-rich, interactive learning solution that blends voice, video, Web, and data. |
