Hiroyuki Irie Hiroyuki Irie leads the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) Japan theatre. IBSG works with many of the world's leading companies and public organizations to help key decision makers become more competitive through effective business processes and technology deployment. Irie brings 25 years of consulting experience to IBSG, most recently as CEO of Japanese strategy consulting firm I & Company, where he directed his firm's efforts to provide leading-edge performance improvement and mergers and acquisitions consulting to global clients and high-tech ventures. Prior to that, as a partner for the management consulting firm PRTM, he managed the company's Japan practice, and he was vice president of BearingPoint, Inc. (now PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultants), where he served as line-of-business leader for the consumer-industrial and technology segments, among other responsibilities. Irie's extensive industry background also includes a stint as vice president and director at Ernst & Young Consulting (now Capgemini), where he served as the Asia Pacific Supply Chain solution leader while also managing Japanese accounts in the high-tech, automotive, and manufacturing industries; and director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultants. Irie is a member of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai) and the Japanese Government Information Technology Engineers Examination Committee. Irie has the qualifications of both a Certified Public Accountant (Japanese government, Financial Services Agency) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (Japanese government, Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry). |
