Dr. Tracey Wilen-Daugenti As the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) Higher Education Lead, Dr. Tracey Wilen-Daugenti guides public sector organizations and tertiary institutions in innovation and Internet excellence to help them achieve their goals. Before joining IBSG, Dr. Wilen-Daugenti held various positions at Cisco in the areas of business development, marketing, and operations. She also held executive posts at Hewlett-Packard and Apple Computer. Dr. Wilen-Daugenti was recognized in 1995 as a notable, modern academic researcher on the topic of business women. She has authored eight books on women and international business, and has published a number of higher-education papers, including "21st Century Learning Environments: Next-Generation Strategies in Higher Education," "Dual-Mode Phones and Mobility in Tertiary Institutions," and a series of point-of-view papers titled "Top Trends in Higher Education." Her latest book is .edu: Technology and Learning Environments in Higher Education. A frequent contributor to the media, Dr. Wilen-Daugenti has appeared on CNN, ABC, CBS, and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times. She is also a speaker for universities and business groups, and was named "San Francisco Woman of the Year," by Globalwomen.biz, for her outreach efforts in academia, women's research, and technology. Dr. Wilen-Daugenti holds an MBA and a doctorate in international business. She has been a visiting scholar at Stanford University and an adjunct professor of graduate and doctoral programs for a number of San Francisco Bay Area universities.
