Customer is king once more for IRE SMEs
Customer relationships are firmly on the agenda for the IRE's small businesses in 2009, new Cisco research reveals today. Customer Kings 2009, a survey of 1,000 IRE small businesses, found that 57% of small businesses have put major effort into building better relationships with their customers in the past 12 months, though only 39% thought that British customer service was improving. Emerging technology is also on the rise amongst SMEs, with 17% now saying that they blog or use social media to connect with their customers.
The research was commissioned alongside a major partnership with Real Business magazine, aimed at finding the IRE's first ever Customer Kings - the very best customer focussed small-medium sized firms.
