Technology Access

As a Cisco Gold-Certified Partner, Bell Canada has access to Cisco technology on the same level as the original manufacturer. Monthly disclosures keep Bell's development team current with emerging and future product directions, which you can leverage for your current and future Technology Migration Plans. Cisco-trained Engineers and Technicians

To date, Cisco has trained over 400 Bell Canada systems engineers and technicians across Ontario and Quebec.

2 and 4 Hour Service Response

Bell Canada stocks spare Cisco components in 12 regional depots, permitting 2 and 4 hour service response commitments, ensuring a uniform level of hardware and software support for customers in all provinces.

Bell Canada Internetworking Technical Support (BITS)

With the Bell Canada Internetworking Technical Support Centre, support issues get resolved fast. The Centre is staffed 24 hours/7 days a week with Cisco Certified Internetworking Engineers (CCIEs) who have passed the industry's most rigorous testing available and have second and third level access to Cisco support resources.

Access to the Cisco Support System

Cisco Gold-Certified Partners are linked electronically to the Cisco support system and internal databases for quicker trouble isolation and resolution. As a result Bell Canada is unmatched in its ability to support nationally deployed internetworks.

Access to Cisco's Customer Information Online Service

Cisco Gold-Certified Partners benefit from access to Cisco's Customer Information Online service (CIO), a unique worldwide web server containing all of Cisco's accumulated database information which uses hypertext cues as well as sophisticated search engine technology. Using Spyglass™ browser software, Bell customers can locate information on any topic in minutes, reducing inquiry response time significantly.

Bell's ICN Modernization

Bell Canada has implemented Cisco technology internally and has one of the largest router and switched-based networks in Canada. This "hands-on" knowledge greatly enhances Bell's ability to deliver internetworking solutions to their customers.

As a Cisco Gold-Certified Partner, Bell Canada has developed a strong working relationship with Cisco Systems and is supported by over 20 Cisco employees dedicated to servicing Bell Canada and the other Stentor Partners.
