Les Williamson is the leader of the Cisco Asia Pacific area that includes southeast Asia (Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) and Australia and New Zealand. Williamson’s responsibility is to drive profitable growth and market leadership through the innovative use of technologies for a more collaborative and productive business and
social environment in this recently created Asia Pacific area.
Williamson previously led Cisco Australia and New Zealand where he was responsible for helping customers and partners take advantage of business and social transitions to increase productivity, create competitive advantage through new, sustainable business models and lower the impact of business on the environment.
Williamson leads the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative in Australia, which has the single objective of putting the human network at the heart of indigenous education and community development in Cape York in North Queensland.
Williamson has been with Cisco for ten years and has first-hand experience in how Cisco delivers architectural vision and technology to customers to drive innovation and collaboration, take cost out of operational expenditures and reduce time-to-market.
Prior to joining Cisco, Williamson held management positions at Ericsson, both here in Australia and in Sweden.
Williamson holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering from Monash University, Victoria.
Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations
As Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations for Cisco, Robert Lloyd leads Worldwide Sales, the Worldwide Partner Organisation, and the Internet Business Solutions Group. He is also a member of the Cisco Executive Committee, which sets strategic direction for each of Cisco’s market segments.
With more than 17 years of global leadership experience at Cisco, Lloyd has managed the majority of Cisco’s worldwide business. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Senior Vice President, U.S., Canada and Japan, overseeing two of Cisco’s five major “theatres.” Lloyd also served as President of Cisco’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for more than four years.
Lloyd joined Cisco in 1994 as General Manager of Cisco’s Canadian subsidiary. He went on to serve as Group Vice President, EMEA, for Cisco’s enterprise, service provider, and small to medium-sized business markets.Lloyd holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.
Robert Swan is a polar explorer, environmental leader and the first man ever to walk to both the North and South poles. He is an exceptionally gifted communicator and is regarded as one of the world’s top motivational speakers.
Robert speaks all over the world on leadership, teamwork and inspiration. He compares his icy experiences to boardroom maneuvers and his inspirational addresses have received the acclaim of discerning audiences worldwide. His contribution to education and the environment have been recognised through his appointment as UN Goodwill Ambassador for Youth, a Visiting Professorship of the School of Environment at Leeds University and in 1994 he became Special Envoy to the Director General of UNESCO. He was awarded the OBE in 1995.
In 2003 and 2004 Robert and his company 2041 delivered the first ever corporate Antarctic Expeditions on Teamwork and Leadership through positive participation and real missions.
