The project is currently used by over 600 paramedics in WA.

As utilising mobile technology becomes increasingly relevant, NEC Australia will present on their work with St John Ambulance WA to transform their paper based case and patient information record keeping system into the electronic patient care record system (ePCR) mobile solution using the Apple iPad. The ePCR was developed to better support the 600 ambulance officers and paramedics in the field and make their pre-hospital patient care record keeping process more accurate and efficient. The ePCR has gained significant attention both in Australia and around the world with many health, community and emergency service based organisations.

The Journey to IT as a Service – A Mantra Group Case Study Perspective

The Mantra Group, one of Australia and New Zealand's largest accommodation providers, first embarked on the journey to IT as a service when it deployed a private cloud environment in late 2011.
