A: The Cisco Partner Relationship Assessment is an online assessment that measures partner satisfaction with Cisco channels account teams, direct sales, service account teams & TAC, online tools, and channels programs.

A: We use the assessment responses to understand the areas we need to focus on and take quantifiable action. This is part of Cisco's continuous improvement as a business partner.

Q: How does the assessment benefit Cisco?
A: Actively listening to our partner's concerns provides Cisco with the information we need to continually offer the value-added products and services our partners demand. Through increased partnership with our Channel Partners, Cisco can measurably improve both partner satisfaction and loyalty.

A: The assessment offers partners the opportunity to provide measurable feedback as it relates to their productivity, profitability and overall satisfaction with Cisco as a Channel Partner.

Q: What is the Cisco Partner Relationship Assessment process?
A: Utilizing the PAL (Partner Access onLine) application, a Cisco Channel Account Manager or Systems Engineer can send an email invitation encouraging partner contacts to participate in the assessment. Once the contact at the partner company takes the assessment, the results are compiled and presented to the Cisco Channel Account Manager or Systems Engineer within PAL, which has a full 360-degree closed loop corrective action process built in.

Q: What is the timeframe for the Cisco Partner Relationship Assessment? Does it have specific cut-off dates like the Cisco Global Customer Satisfaction Assessment?
A: The Partner Relationship Assessment is conducted from August through June of the following year.

Q: Who can initiate a Cisco Partner Relationship Assessment for a partner?
A: Any Cisco CAM, ICAM, or SE can invite an individual employed by a partner to participate in the assessment.

Q: How many invitations can one partner receive?
A: Partner employees working with Cisco could each receive an invitation. However, no one individual can complete more than one Partner Relationship Assessment per fiscal year, similar to Cisco's Global Customer Satisfaction Assessment process. We encourage CAMs and SEs to solicit feedback from all of the partner process areas that are touched in the relationship with the partner (sales, order entry, purchasing, executive mgmt, etc.)

Q: How often can invitations be sent to the same individual?
A: PAL allows one original invitation and up to four remainder emails per assessment period, August through the following June.

Q: Who will have access to the results of the Cisco Partner Relationship Assessment?
A: Partners will have access to the number of assessments their company has responded to and the scores for each process area. They will also see information related to any corrective actions, opened due to partner feedback, being worked by Cisco employees.

Cisco employees will have access to their partner's assessments, scores, and all corrective action information.

Q: What if a partner deletes the Cisco Partner Relationship Assessment email invitation or the assessment URL?
A: Contact the Channels Account Manager or the Systems Engineer who sent you the invitation. They can re-send the invitation from PAL.
