Q: What is Cisco's objective in conducting
a assessment of its partners?
A: We use the assessment responses to understand the areas we need to
focus on and take quantifiable action. This is part of Cisco's continuous
improvement as a business partner.

Q: How does the assessment benefit Cisco?
A: Actively listening to our partner's concerns provides Cisco with
the information we need to continually offer the value-added products
and services our partners demand. Through increased partnership
with our Channel Partners, Cisco can measurably improve both partner
satisfaction and loyalty.

Q: What is the Cisco Partner Relationship
Assessment process?
A: Utilizing the PAL (Partner Access onLine) application, a Cisco
Channel Account Manager or Systems Engineer can send an
email invitation encouraging partner contacts to participate in the
assessment. Once the contact at the partner company takes the assessment,
the results are compiled and presented to the Cisco Channel Account
Manager or Systems Engineer within PAL, which has a full 360-degree
closed loop corrective action process built in.

all of the partner process areas that are touched in the relationship
with the partner (sales, order entry, purchasing, executive mgmt,
etc.)
