Introduction
This document describes the maximum number of monitor meters allowed per script in the Cisco Intelligent Contact Management (ICM) version 5 environment.

Q. What is the maximum number of monitor meters allowed per script and can this setting be modified?
A. There is a limit of 999 monitor meters per routing script. Each green box, shown below, represents one monitor meter. This number limit is preset and is not configurable in Cisco ICM version 5.
After the initial upgrade to Cisco ICM version 5, all of the existing scripts run in the same manner as before. The number of monitor meters is kept the same as the previous version. However, if you edit the script, Script Editor upgrades the nodes and the new version of the script runs with the new associated monitoring meters.
If the old script happens to have many nodes and the upgrade causes the number of meters to exceed 999, Script Editor displays a warning message and does not allow the new script to be saved. The workaround is to separate the script into two scripts and use the Go To Script node to transfer control from the first script to the second one.
This limit of 999 monitor labels has been in ICM since the beginning. There are some new metering-type monitor labels in ICM versions 4.6.2 and 5.0. Customers who upgrade old scripts that are near the limit may see problems even if there are no changes to the script.
