Product Substitution
The recommended upgrade path for the 33-MHz Gigabit Ethernet card is the 66-MHz Gigabit Ethernet card. These interfaces offer greater performance at a comparable price point. 64-bit, 66-MHz Gigabit Ethernet interfaces are supported in the Cisco PIX 520, 525, and 535 Firewalls.

Support
Cisco will continue to provide support through the SMARTnet™ service program. Customers with SMARTnet service contracts are entitled to 24-hour phone support through the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and advance replacement of hardware. Cisco is committed to providing hardware support for this product for a period of five years after the end-of-sale date.
