IntroductionThis product bulletin describes the new features introduced in Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.1(5)YC for the Cisco 811, 813, 827 and SOHO series routers.
Cisco 811 and 813 routersCisco IOS Software 12.1(5)YC is an early deployment (ED) release that is targeted at customers who intend to deploy enhanced voice features and PIAFS [PHS (Personal Handy Phone) Internet Access Forum Standard] on the Cisco 811 and Cisco 813.
The following new features are supported on the 813 Series in 12.1(5)YC:
•Calling between Ports
•Local Call Transfer
•Distinctive Ringing based on Caller ID
•Sub Addresses for the phone ports
The following new feature is supported on the Cisco 811 and Cisco 813 in 12.1(5)YC:
Cisco 827 and SOHO routers
The following new features are supported on the 827 and SOHO series routers in 12.1(5)YC:
•OpenDSL compatibility—OpenDSL allows automatic provisioning of CPEs from a central location.
The features delivered with this ED release will be incorporated into Release 12.2(3)T. Therefore, maintenance for these features should be obtained from Release 12.2(3)T.

Supported Hardware Platforms
Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(5)YC supports all Cisco 811, 813, 820 and SOHO platforms.
Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(5)YC does not support the Cisco 801, 802, 803, 804 platforms.
