Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(3)XG
Introduction
This product bulletin describes the new features introduced in Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.1(3)XG.
New Features
12.1(3)XG is an early deployment (ED) release that targets the worldwide market.
The new features for the Cisco 801, 802, 803, 804, and 805 included in this release are:
•
XOT on 805
•3DES Encryption
•HSRP
•Prefix dial for voice calls on 803 and 804
•Service Assurance Agent
•X.3, X.28, and X.29 ITU PAD for X.25 on 801-804
•Inverse ARP on 801-804
Supplementary Voice features for selected Nordic countries:
•Caller ID
•Caller ID restriction
•Call Forward
•Call Transfer
•Call Waiting
•Call Waiting with Caller ID
The features delivered with this ED release will be immediately incorporated into the 12.2(1)T release. Therefore, maintenance for these features should be obtained from the 12.2T release.

Supported Hardware Platforms
Cisco IOS software release 12.1(3)XG supports the Cisco 801, 802, 803, 804, 805 platforms.
Supplementary voice features and prefix dialing for voice calls is supported only on the Cisco 803.
