Cisco 7200 Series Chassis
with DC Power Supply

Introduction

The Cisco 7200 series base chassis include the 4 slot CISCO7204VXR and the 6 slot CISCO7206VXR. These chassis have previously been available with an AC power supply included as the default and a DC power supply as a configurable option. With the introduction of two chassis product IDs, customers can now order the 7200 series with the DC power supply as the default. These new chassis part numbers simplify ordering by allowing customers to select a single part number for the chassis and DC power supply.

The new Product IDs listed below include the following:

• CISCO7204VXR or CISCO7206VXR chassis

Note that the minimum required software versions for the PWR-7200-DC+ are: 12.1(7)E, 12.2(3), 12.2(2)T, 12.2(2)DD1, 12.0(17)S
