End-of-Life Announcement
Cisco 90i CSU, 8xIDSL Line Card, 4xSDSL Line Card, and Cisco 633 and 673 CPE
Overview
Cisco announces the end of life for the Cisco 90i (IDSL CSU), ITUC-8-2B1Q-DIR-1 (eight-port IDSL line card), STUC-4-2B1Q-DIR-2 (four-port 2B1Q SDSL line card), and Cisco 633 and 673 Symmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). Customers are encouraged to participate in the Technology Migration Program at http://www.cisco.com/offer/tic/TMP_PA.html and migrate to G.SHDSL solutions for continuing digital subscriber line (DSL) rollouts. The eight-port G.SHDSL line card, STUC-8-SHDSL-1, features and high density interoperability with Globespan-based CPE. Complementary CPE solutions include the Cisco SOHO 78 and Cisco 828. Product IDs and key dates (last time buy, end of hardware support, and end of software support) are listed in Table 1.

Last Software Support Date
The last date of support for current hardware or software is August 3, 2004. Any issues with software or hardware beyond these dates will not be addressed. Customers will be required to migrate to new DSL products available at that time.
End-of-Support Announcement
End-of-software and end-of-hardware support announcements will be posted on August 3, 2004.
Date for Discontinuing Renewal of Contracts
Cisco will honor existing service contracts. Cisco will not honor new contracts beyond end of support dates for the software or hardware.
Obsoletion
The Cisco 90i CSU, ITUC-8-2B1Q-DIR-1 line card, STUC-4-2B1Q-DIR-2 line card, and Cisco 633 and 673 CPE are considered obsolete, and all activities required to support these products will cease on August 3, 2004.
