Required: Product Migration Options

The recommended replacement for the Cisco NM-1FE1CT1, NM-1FE1CT1-CSU, NM-1FE1CE1B, NM-1FE1CE1U, NM-1FE2CT1, NM-1FE2CT1-CSU, NM-1FE2CE1B, and NM-1FE2CE1U Network Modules and the Cisco 3620MBUNDLE-24DM and 3620MBUNDLE-30DM Dial Bundles is the Cisco NM-1CE1T1-PRI and NM-2CE1T1-PRI Network Modules and Cisco 3725MBUNDLE-24DM, 3725MBUNDLE-30DM-B, and 3725MBUNDLE-30DM-U Bundles (Table 3).

The New Cisco E1/T1 ISDN PRI network modules (NM-xCE1T1-PRI) are software configurable between E1 or T1 operation, balanced or unbalanced E1 termination, and CSU/DSU. Customers no longer need to buy a specific module for T1 support and then another card for E1 connectivity. In addition, the same modules provide for balanced (120-ohm) and unbalanced (75-ohm) E1 termination. A cable adapter is available to adapt the card to your environment.

The Cisco 3725 dial bundles, 3725MBUNDLE-30DM-B, and 3725MBUNDLE-30DM-U, provide the same capabilities as a similarly equipped Cisco 3620—but offer greater flexibility and investment protection at the same solution price. Cisco 3725 dial solutions offer the following advantages over similarly equipped Cisco 3620 solutions:

  • An additional Fast Ethernet port
  • Three additional WAN interface slots
  • Two asynchronous interface module (AIM) slots
  • Greater processing power
  • Increased default memory
