Cisco Systems is replacing the Cisco 1417 router with a new product. This product bulletin provides information about the product affected, its availability, and substitute product. Please note end-of-sale does not affect the Cisco 1401 model.Product Substitution
The Cisco 827 business-class ADSL routers provide business-class functionality for small and home offices and corporate teleworkers. Cisco IOS® Firewall support will be available optionally on the Cisco 827 in August and the IPSec feature will be available during the second half of CY2000.
*For small branch-office and small- and medium-sized business customers, the Cisco 1700 family of routers with the ADSL WIC will be available in August.
