Cisco 10000 Series Carrier for Half-Height Line Card

The Cisco 10000 Series Carrier for Half-Height line cards holds up to two Cisco 10000 half-height line cards. Each carrier utilizes a single slot on a Cisco 10008.

Benefits of the carrier include:

Enables the Cisco 10000 to use half-height line cards

Enables the Cisco 10000 to provide maximum modularity for flexible deployment options

Enables half-height line card online insertion and removal (OIR)

Line cards—The carrier supports all half-height line cards available on the Cisco 10000.
