Introduction
This frequently asked question (FAQ) concerns database synchronization between an Active and Standby TCC+/TCC2.
Refer to Cisco Technical Tips Conventions for more information on document conventions.
Q. How often does database synchronization occur between the Active and Standby TCC+/TCC2?
A. Database synchronization occurs on a 30 second timer. However, it is only done if there are pending changes. Every 30 seconds the NE checks to see if there are new provisioning changes; if there are, then the database is written to flash on the Active TCC and synchronized to the Standby TCC. In effect, databases are synchronized only when there is a provisioning change, but the synchronization is not necessarily immediate.
