Cisco® encourages customers to move to the Cisco 3700 Series routers as replacements for the Cisco 3600 Series. With onboard LAN/WAN connectivity, new high-density service modules, additional memory capacity, integrated inline IP Phone power, and support for multiple Advanced Integration Modules (AIMs), the Cisco 3700 Series delivers new levels of branch office service density and performance in a compact form factor.

CISCO 3620 PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacements for the Cisco 3620 are the Cisco 2691 and the Cisco 3700 Series routers. The Cisco 2691 and Cisco 3700 Multiservice Access Routers are based on the same modular concepts as the Cisco 3600 Series, but enable dramatically higher levels of performance and application integration in enterprise branch offices.
