Cisco International Limited expanding to support 174 countries in sales and marketing activities.

Cisco International Limited (CIL) is Cisco's main buying and selling entity for the European, Emerging Markets, and Asia Pacific regions. CIL currently supports 32 countries through branches and subsidiaries providing sales and marketing activities, and following 16 November will expand to 171 countries.

Cisco partners and customers currently using CIL to transact business should review the "Upgrade" tab information. Partners and customers transacting through Cisco Systems International B.V. should review the "Migration" tab. Partners and customers with a Bill-to ID in the Netherlands, Italy, U.S., or Japan should review the "Realignment" tab.

On 16 November, CIL will be upgraded onto Cisco's new global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. This upgrade will allow Cisco to reduce order-to-fulfillment cycle times and standardise systems and processes.

New CIL BIDs will be created for you and will be available on Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) and Cisco Service Contract Center (CSCC) from 16 November 2014. You do not need to take any action as your customer profile will be updated accordingly.

Before placing an order, you will need:

  • Legal sales agreement (LSA)
    Partners' and customers' LSAs must reflect the CIL buy-or-sell entity. Accounts may require signatures for this adjustment.
  • Internet commerce agreement (ICA)
    To transact with CIL, your ICA will be re-assigned to the CIL entity. Re-acceptance is not required.
  • New CIL BIDs will be created for you and will be available in Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) and Cisco Service Contract Center (CSCC) from 16 November. You do not need to take any action as your customer profile will be updated accordingly.
  • Invoicing and payments
    Following Go-Live you will be invoiced by the Cisco entity that you place your order with. Remittance must be made to the invoicing entity. Your Finance department should have received a communication with bank details.

On 16 November, Cisco will realign you to one of the following countries: the Netherlands, Italy, the U.S., or Japan. Re-alignment to a new Cisco entity is based on your current Bill-to ID (BID).

Conducting Business with Your New Cisco Entity

Before placing an order, you will need:

  • A new BID: New BIDs will be created for your new Cisco entity and will be available in CCW and CCSC from 16 November. You do not need to take any action as your customer profile will be automatically updated.
  • Legal sales agreement (LSA)
    Partners' and customers' LSAs must reflect your new entity. Accounts may require signatures for this adjustment.
  • Internet Commerce Agreements (ICA)
    In order to transact with your newly aligned Cisco entity, your Internet Commerce Agreement (ICA) will be re-assigned via a notice of assignment. Reacceptance will not be required.
