Open Caveats
-
After migration, Unified CCE Administration does not load the remote sites if the remote sites do not have a MR PG configured.
Workaround is to create remote sites MR PG in the Configuration Manger tool. See the PG naming section for details (it is not essential to configure the PG on the PG setup tool, just the Configuration Manager tool update will do).
-
Any unused reason codes that are added to UCCE as part of remote site migration which contain Finesse cluster, do not get orchestrated to other Finesse clusters in the system. An update done to those reason codes post-migration will force the sync.
-
Migration does not support ECE users with screen names that have space(s) in them. The workaround is to remove the spaces from the screen names.
-
Readiness gap column in the Readiness Dashboard will have more meaningful messages instead of error code. For details on the error, click on the corresponding ‘Manual Fix steps’ appearing in the Dashboard.
-
In rare cases, post-migration, “The request reached the server, but it took too long to respond. Try reloading the page."error may appear. This is intermittent. Refresh the web page to fix this.
-
If there are any alerts shown in the Unified CCE Administration tool post-migration, review the alerts and take appropriate action.
-
If the migration to Packaged CCE was not successful, use the Unified CCE Admin Console to switch back to your Unified CCE deployment type. During the rollback to Unified CCE, there may be an additional step to add CUIC/IdS/LD machine back into the inventory with the appropriate credentials to remove any alerts associated with SSO.

You can roll back all transactions made in the system during your attempt to migrate a remote site using a CCE REST API. This REST API does not remove any underlying peripherals, so that you may manage the peripherals the way you managed them before the migration attempt (using the Configuration Manager or other associated tools). For more details on the API, see Remote Site Rollback from Packaged CCE
