Is the number of people who can stream a conference with content on a Cisco TelePresence MCU limited?
The Cisco TelePresence MCU supports up to a limited number of streaming viewers depending on which model you have (see the datasheet). If the conference you are streaming does not include the content channel, this normally uses one UDP connection per streaming viewer. However, if the conference you are streaming does include the content channel, the content uses a TCP connection (in addition to the UDP connection for the main video). This limits the number of streaming viewers to a lower number (Cisco TelePresence guarantees 50), though this also depends on whether TCP ports are also being used for other functions such as an FTP connection or monitoring by Cisco TMS.
