Introduction

This document provides information on how to migrate the data from an existing Cisco TelePresence Manager (CTS-Manager), Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch (CTMS) or Cisco TelePresence Recording Server (CTRS) server running software release 1.6 or 1.7 on an MCS server to new server running software release 1.8.

Before migration, you must upgrade your existing server to software release 1.8.

Note Upgrade to 1.8 from releases 1.6 and 1.7 is supported only.

Review the hardware requirements in the next section to make sure the MCS or UCS server to which you plan to migrate is supported for software release 1.8.
