This document describes the release of Cisco IOS Release 11.2(13a), products affected, Cisco IOS versions affected, problem description, and symptoms of the defect requiring the release 11.2(13a).

No special order number is required to order the 11.2(13a) release. The existing product number for the 11.2(13) can still be used.

Problem Description

The solution for software defect CSCdj31419 (registered customers only) was improperly integrated in the 11.2 release. CSCdj94374 (registered customers only) resolves this issue and completes the integration for CSCdj31419. CSCdj94374 applies to 11.2 only. In all other releases, CSCdj31419 was correctly integrated.

Symptoms

Customers affected by CSCdj31419 or CSCdj94374 may have the system reload, symptom shown.

Below is a sample output of the show version command after the system has reloaded.

Solution

To eliminate the problems mentioned in the preceding section, download and install one of the Cisco IOS software release updates listed in Table 3.
