Cisco MeetingPlace Web Conferencing consists of multiple components, one of which is the Data Conferencing that provides DC meetings and functionalities.
When the Cisco MeetingPlace Web gateway is powered on, the MeetingPlace services come up and a special test DC meeting is created internally. If, for whatever reason, this special test DC meeting cannot be created, the Data Conferencing component will not work and no one will be able to join data conferences on this machine.
In the GWSIM eventlog, you will see:

In the IIS log, you will see:
2004-02-13 22:02:31 source IP ? destination IP 80 GET /mpweb/scripts/jengax.dll
Notice the 403 error, which is ?Forbidden? as defined by IIS.
Cisco MeetingPlace Web makes an internal call to JengaX.dll to create the special DC test meeting. This call must be go through unimpeded. In other words, it cannot handle a pop up window that requires further user interactive inputs.
If there is a problem with the SSL Certificate on this Cisco MeetingPlace Web server, then you will get a pop-up Windows message box informing you of an SSL problem and that will prevent the special DC test conference from being created.
There will be a Cisco MeetingPlace Web outage because people will be unable to attend data conferences on this machine.
Remove the root cause of the SSL Certificate pop-up warning.
This is not a product defect. This is caused by an incorrect SSL implementation. Causes of SSL Certificate pop-up warning box, when making https:// connection to the Cisco MeetingPlace Web server, include:
Expired SSL certificate.
URL name does not match the URL name issued for that certificate.
Missing certification authority server in the Certificate Path.
