Cisco MeetingPlace Server 8112 (M3)

5.0.2q

Problem Description

Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.

If a roll call is performed on a meeting approaching or exceeding 120 attendees, the system might restart itself.

Problem Symptoms

Users on the server before the restart will get disconnected.

Workaround/Solution

WORKAROUND

Do not listen to a roll call for a meeting approaching or exceeding 120 participants. If you anticipate that the meeting will have a large turn out, do not perform a roll call, since the number of participants can continue to increase in a short period of time.

SOLUTION

A hot fix for 5.0.2q is available. Please contact Cisco MeetingPlace Support to have this applied.
