Problem Description

Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.

There is an issue with the LNNotify.exe module of MeetingPlace Notes that will prevent it from delivering notifications for meeting's scheduled through the web or MeetingTime. This only happens if the schedulers' email address field in the profile is blank.

Problem Symptoms

Meeting notifications for meetings that are scheduled through MPWeb or MeetingTime will not be delivered.

Workaround/Solution

Workaround:

There are two workaround for this issue.

  1. Make the email address field for all schedulers non NULL.

    Or

  2. Upgrade LNNotify.exe to the 4.1.3.32 LNNotify Hot Fix. Contact CSC to obtain this hot fix.

Resolution:

The 4.1.3.32 LNNotify.exe hot fix will be incorporated in the next release of MeetingPlace Notes.
