Management System Setup : SNMP Setup

This page configures this device to work with your network administrator's Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) station. In addition to enabling SNMP, you must create a user with SNMP capability to serve as an SNMP community. The SNMP community name, or string, is the same as the username. When you enter an SNMP Admin Community name on the Express Setup page, a user whose username matches the SNMP Admin Community name is created automatically with Write, SNMP, Ident, and Admin capabilities.
