System Software Filename

The software that is installed on the system.

System Software Version

The version of IOS that is running on the access point.

Bootloader Version

The version of bootloader that is installed. The bootloader does not change when the system image is changed.

Upgrade System Software Tar File

To install a newer version of IOS software, insert the correct path and filename of the new system software tar file. Go to Cisco.com and download the newest system software version to your local drive. Click Browse, locate the new system software file, and click Upload to copy the file to the access point.
