this is the Home page that provides a summary of associated stations,
system events, and port status. The page also provides many links
to pages with detailed information.
Click the Association link to view the Association
Table for associated non-root bridges. Further, click Bridges
to see a list of bridges that are associated.
IP Address
The IP address of the bridge.
MAC Address
The Media Access Control (MAC) is a unique serial
number permanently assigned to the bridge's Ethernet controller
by the manufacturer.
Click this link to move to the Network Interfaces
page that contains more information about the status of Fast Ethernet
and Radio-802.11a/b interfaces.
The Interface column lists the wired and
wireless interface connections. Each listed interface is also a
link to the individual port page that provides complete information
on interface configuration and data statistics.
The MAC Address column lists the Media Access
Control address, which is a unique identifier assigned by the manufacturer.
The Transmission Rate column lists the maximum
rate of data transmission in megabits per second. Use the individual
interface setting to set data rates.
Click this link to move to the Event Log page that
classifies the severity of the errors and gives a description of
them.
The Time column shows the time of the event
expressed in system uptime or wall-clock time. The upper right-hand
corner of every page shows the current system uptime expressed in
the cumulative number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds of operation
since startup or reset.
The Severity column notes the significance
of the event. The severity options are Emergency, Alert, Critical,
Error, Warning, Notification, Information, or Debugging. See the
help page associated with the Event
Log to view the level of severity and description for each type.
The Description column is a brief explanation
of the event.
