Upgrade installeren op Nexus-Switches in vPC met NX-OS
Inleiding
Dit document beschrijft de upgradeprocedure van Cisco Nexus 9000-switches in vPC met Cisco NX-OS.
Voorwaarden
Vereisten
Cisco raadt kennis van deze onderwerpen aan:
- Nexus NX-OS-software.
- Virtual Port Channel (vPC).
- Gebruik de apparaatbestandssystemen, directory's en bestanden op Cisco Nexus-switches.
- Meld u aan bij Software Download.
- Cisco raadt aan een onderhoudsvenster te plannen omdat deze procedure storend is.
Gebruikte componenten
De informatie in dit document is gebaseerd op de volgende software- en hardware-versies:
- Cisco Nexus 9000 met Cisco NX-OS.
De informatie in dit document is gebaseerd op de apparaten in een specifieke laboratoriumomgeving. Alle apparaten die in dit document worden beschreven, hadden een opgeschoonde (standaard)configuratie. Als uw netwerk live is, moet u zorgen dat u de potentiële impact van elke opdracht begrijpt.
Opmerking: De upgradeprocedure voor Cisco Nexus 7000-switches kan op dit document worden gebaseerd, hoewel de opdrachten en uitvoer kunnen variëren. Raadpleeg voor meer informatie de officiële Cisco-gidsen die specifiek zijn voor uw Cisco Nexus-switch.

Achtergrondinformatie
- Stel dat u de netwerkbeheerder bent van een datacenter met twee N9K-C93180YC-FX-24.
- N9K-1 en N9K-2 hebben NX-OS 9.3(11).
- Server A en B sturen productieverkeer.
- Het doel is om beide Nexus-switches te upgraden naar NX-OS 10.2(5).
Opmerking: Begin de upgrade met de primaire switch of de tweede switch levert geen onderscheid op. Het starten met de primaire switch garandeert echter dat beide apparaten terugkeren naar hun oorspronkelijk geconfigureerde primaire en secundaire rollen. Hoewel het belangrijk is om een aantal van de functies van de Nexus kennen als operationeel primaire in vPC.
vPC Operationele primaire taken
- Beantwoord ARP-verzoeken zelfs met FHRP.
- Verwerkt Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDU's).
- Voorwaarts PIM Multicast verkeer.
- Control-plane pakketten van IGMP.
- Geen afsluiten van vPC-lidpoorten wanneer peer-link wordt uitgeschakeld.
Upgrademethologie
Stap 1. Open Cisco Nexus 9000 en 3000 ISSU Support Matrix
- Selecteer de huidige versie.
- Selecteer de doelrelease.

Opmerking: Cisco TAC raadt u aan altijd gebruik te maken van de optie voor disruptieve (herlaad) upgrade met het aanbevolen pad.
Opmerking: het aanbevolen pad kan meerdere sprongen weergeven. Voor elke hop moeten de stappen 2 tot en met 11 worden herhaald totdat beide Cisco Nexus-switches de beoogde NX-OS-versie hebben.
Stap 2. Download alle Cisco NX-OS-bestanden die in het aanbevolen pad worden vermeld, afhankelijk van uw Cisco Nexus switch-lijnkaart.
- Aanmelden bij Softwaredownload
- Navigeer naar de sectie Downloaden en upgraden en open Downloads openen.
- Klik op Alles doorbladeren > Cisco IOS- en NX-OS-software > NX-OS – NX-OS-software > Switches > Switches voor datacenters > Uw Nexus-reeks selecteren > Uw linecard selecteren > NX-OS-systeemsoftware > NX-OS-versie selecteren om te downloaden.
- Beweeg de cursor over de bestandsnaam om de bestandsgegevens weer te geven, kopieer de MD5 checksum waarde en download het NX-OS bestand.
Softwaredownload
- Breng NX-OS-bestanden over naar bootflash op beide Cisco Nexus-switches in vPC via SCP, SFTP, TFTP of USB. Als een van de eerste drie opties is geselecteerd, controleert u of er een ping naar de server is door de verwachte VRF op te geven. In dit voorbeeld heeft de SFTP-server het IP-adres 192.168.9.9 bereikbaar via Virtual Routing Forwarding (VRF) Management.

- Verkrijg de MD5 checksum van het NX-OS bestand met de opdracht show file bootflash.
- Vergelijk deze waarde met de waarde die is gekopieerd uit de Softwaredownload. Beide waarden moeten overeenkomen, anders is het NX-OS-bestand beschadigd of niet legitiem.
