Installatie van upgrade op Nexus-Switches in vPC met NX-OS
Inleiding
Dit document beschrijft de upgradeprocedure voor Cisco Nexus 9000 switches in vPC met Cisco NX-OS.
Voorwaarden
Vereisten
Cisco raadt kennis van de volgende onderwerpen aan:
- Nexus NX-OS-software.
- Virtual-poortkanaal (vPC).
- Gebruik de Apparaatbestandssystemen, directories en bestanden op Cisco Nexus-switches.
- Meld u aan bij Software Download.
- Cisco raadt aan een onderhoudsvenster te plannen omdat deze procedure de werking van de computer verstoort.
Gebruikte componenten
De informatie in dit document is gebaseerd op de volgende software- en hardware-versies:
- Cisco Nexus 9000 met Cisco NX-OS.
De informatie in dit document is gebaseerd op de apparaten in een specifieke laboratoriumomgeving. Alle apparaten die in dit document worden beschreven, hadden een opgeschoonde (standaard)configuratie. Als uw netwerk live is, moet u zorgen dat u de potentiële impact van elke opdracht begrijpt.
Opmerking: de upgradeprocedure voor Cisco Nexus 7000 switches kan op dit document worden gebaseerd, hoewel de opdrachten en uitgangen kunnen variëren. Voor meer informatie raadpleegt u de officiële Cisco-handleidingen die specifiek zijn voor uw Cisco Nexus switch.

Achtergrondinformatie
- Stel dat u de netwerkbeheerder bent van een datacenter met twee N9K-C93180YC-FX-24.
- N9K-1 en N9K-2 hebben NX-OS 9.3(1).
- Server A en B verzenden productieverkeer.
- Het doel is om beide Nexus switches te upgraden naar NX-OS 10.2(5).
Opmerking: Start de upgrade met de eerste switch of de tweede switch levert geen functioneel onderscheid op. Niettemin, het initiëren met de primaire switch garandeert dat beide apparaten terugkeren naar hun aanvankelijk gevormde primaire en secundaire rollen. Hoewel het belangrijk is om bepaalde functies van de Nexus als operationeel primair in vPC te kennen.
vPC operationele primaire taken
- Beantwoord ARP verzoeken zelfs met FHRP.
- Verwerkt Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDU’s).
- Doorsturen van PIM Multicast-verkeer.
- Control-plane pakketten van IGMP.
- Geen afsluiten van vPC-lidpoorten tijdens peer-link down.
Upgrademethode
Stap 1. Open Cisco Nexus 9000 en 3000 ISU-ondersteuningsmatrix
- Selecteer de huidige release.
- Selecteer de doelrelease.

Opmerking: Cisco TAC raadt aan altijd de upgradeoptie verstorend (opnieuw laden) te gebruiken met het aanbevolen pad.
Opmerking: het aanbevolen pad kan meerdere sprongen tonen. Voor elke hop moeten stap 2 tot en met 11 worden herhaald tot beide Cisco Nexus-switches de beoogde NX-OS-versie hebben.
Stap 2. Download alle Cisco NX-OS-bestanden die in het aanbevolen pad zijn vermeld, afhankelijk van uw Cisco Nexus switch-lijnkaart.
- Inloggen bij softwaredownload
- Navigeer naar paragraaf Downloaden en upgraden en open toegangsdownloads.
- Klik op Bladeren > Cisco IOS en NX-OS Software > NX-OS - NX-OS Software > Switches > Data Center Switches > Selecteer uw Nexus serie > Selecteer uw lijnkaart > NX-OS systeemsoftware > Selecteer de NX-OS versie die u wilt downloaden.
- Beweeg de cursor over de bestandsnaam om de bestandsdetails weer te geven, kopieer de MD5-checksum waarde en download het NX-OS bestand.
Software downloaden - Breng NX-OS-bestanden over naar bootflash op beide Cisco Nexus-switches in vPC via SCP, SFTP, TFTP of USB. Als een van de eerste drie opties is geselecteerd, controleert u of er een ping naar de server is door de verwachte VRF op te geven. In dit voorbeeld heeft SFTP-server IP-adres 192.168.9.9 bereikbaar via Virtual Routing Forwarding (VRF) Management.

- Verkrijg de MD5 checksum uit NX-OS bestand met de opdracht toon bestand bootflash.
- Vergelijk deze waarde met de waarde die uit de Software Download is gekopieerd. Beide waarden moeten overeenkomen, anders wordt het NX-OS-bestand beschadigd of niet legaal.

- Gebruik het commando show installeer alle impact nxos bootflash. Hiermee wordt een voorlopige diagnose uitgevoerd om te bevestigen dat de versie van Cisco NX-OS compatibel is en dat de installatie kan worden uitgevoerd.
