Achtergrondinformatie

Posture lease is een functie in Cisco ISE die de laatst bekende nalevingsstatus tot 365 dagen in DB opslaat en niet naar het eindpunt reikt om te controleren op naleving. Maar wanneer de leaseovereenkomst voor de houding verloopt, activeert Cisco ISE niet automatisch een herverificatie of een herbeoordeling van de houding voor het eindpunt. Het eindpunt blijft in dezelfde nalevingsstatus omdat dezelfde sessie wordt gebruikt. Wanneer het eindpunt opnieuw wordt geverifieerd, wordt de houding uitgevoerd en wordt de leasetijd van de houding opnieuw ingesteld.

Posture lease is een eindpuntkenmerk dat wordt opgeslagen in de Oracle DB en de tijd in EPOCH-tijd opslaat. Hetzelfde kan worden gevalideerd vanuit context zichtbaarheid en Oracle DB.

Posture Expiry

Samen met de houdinglease is er nog een functie in ISE die de laatst bekende nalevingsstatus voor de configureerbare hoeveelheid tijd (max. 200 dagen / 4800 uur / 288000 minuten) in de Laatst Bekende Houdingcompliante Staat cacht. Met deze functie kan Cisco ISE de laatste nalevingsstatus cachen en als een eindpunt niet-conform wordt binnen de status Laatst bekende houding, markeert ISE het eindpunt als conform tot de aflossingsperiode die is geconfigureerd in het houdingsbeleid.

Laatst bekende posture compliant state-waardewinkels in de Oracle DB., het slaat ook op in EPOCH-tijd.

Configuratie

U configureert de leasepositie als volgt in Cisco ISE:

1. Navigeer naar Werkcentra > Houding > Instellingen > Houding Lease. Controleer de postuur beoordeling elke __ dagen en configureer het aantal dagen (1-365 dagen). In dit voorbeeld is het ingesteld op 1 dagen.

2. Vink de status van de laatst bekende status aan en configureer de status van de laatst bekende status van de status van de status van de laatst bekende status (max. 200 dagen / 4800 uur / 288000 minuten). In dit voorbeeld is het geconfigureerd voor 2 dagen.

Scenario 1: Posture Lease uitschakelen

Nu wordt het EP non-klager. Net als in het houdingsbeleid wordt alleen Windows FW gecontroleerd.

4. Schakel de Windows FW uit en sluit de EP opnieuw aan. Het EP wordt niet-klager, maar een respijtperiode van 2 minuten is geconfigureerd in het houdingsbeleid. Hierdoor toont de AC-houdingsmodule de status als In-respijtperiode.

5. In het RADIUS-live-logboek kunt u zien dat het EP als klacht is gemarkeerd, ook al is de houdingscontrole mislukt. Na het verstrijken van de respijtperiode werd de sessie niet-conform.

6. In het ise-psc.log kunt u zien wanneer het EP verbinding maakt, omdat de lease niet is ingeschakeld, controleert het de LSD om de status van de houding op te halen:

Scenario 3: Effect van Light Session Directory (LSD) op Posture Lease

1. Het in- of uitschakelen van LSD heeft geen invloed op de leasestatus en de laatste nalevingsstatus, aangezien beide kenmerken in de Oracle DB worden opgeslagen en tijdens de implementatie worden gerepliceerd. Terwijl LSD beperkte EP-attributen in het geheugen opslaat en repliceert naar andere PSN's.

V: Zijn zowel Posture Lease als Cached Last Known Posture onafhankelijk van elkaar?

A: Ja, Posture Lease kan worden ingeschakeld zonder de laatst bekende houding in de cache in te schakelen en vice versa. Posture Lease slaat de status Endpoint Compliance op als een eindpuntkenmerk voor de geconfigureerde hoeveelheid tijd. Laatst gekende positie in cache is de tijd die in de database is opgeslagen en waarin de respijtperiode wordt gegeven als het eindpunt niet-conform wordt (dit is geen eindpuntkenmerk).

V: Worden zowel de Posture Lease als de Cached Last Known Posture over de knooppunten gerepliceerd?

A: Posture Lease is een eindpuntkenmerk en wordt over alle knooppunten gerepliceerd. Laatst bekende positie in cache is geen eindpuntkenmerk, maar de waarde is in Oracle DB en wordt ook gerepliceerd naar alle knooppunten.

V: Verwijdert het opnieuw opstarten van de node deze waarden?

A: Nee, aangezien beide worden opgeslagen in de Oracle DB en het opnieuw laden van deze knooppunten de waarden niet verwijdert.

V: Veroorzaakt Posture Lease een beveiligingsprobleem?

A: Wanneer houdingslease is ingeschakeld, controleert ISE niet op de houdingsstatus van het eindpunt. Het kan een beveiligingsprobleem veroorzaken als het eindpunt niet compliant is, en ISE kan het als klacht behandelen. Het wordt aanbevolen om Posture Reassessment samen met de Posture Lease te gebruiken om dit risico te minimaliseren.
