    Inleiding

    Dit document beschrijft hoe u situaties kunt voorkomen waarin de Cisco NCS 560 routeprocessor (RP) niet reageert na een herladen of een stroomcyclus.

    Achtergrondinformatie


    In de meeste gevallen worden de NCS 560-implementaties uitgevoerd op afgelegen locaties, in grote aantallen, en waar menselijke interventie tot een minimum moet worden beperkt.
    In deze implementaties is het ook belangrijk om te voldoen aan de verplichte SMU-installatievereisten op basis van de geïnstalleerde release.

    Opmerking: Vanaf Cisco IOS XR-release 7.2.2 en hoger hoeft u het MKB niet langer afzonderlijk te installeren.

    FPD's moeten worden bijgewerkt om ervoor te zorgen dat FPD's altijd een versie hebben die gelijk is aan of hoger is dan de minimaal vereiste versie die voor die Cisco IOS® XR-release is vereist.

    Controleer het ATM-gebied op beide RP’s (evalueer de verwijdering van de sectie)

    Het is belangrijk ervoor te zorgen dat het TAM-gebied niet wordt gecorrumpeerd; anders kunnen een IOFPGA, FPD-upgrade en daaropvolgende herladingen leiden tot een RMA. Met deze MOP, omdat FPD versie 0.64 of hoger in gebruik is, leidt dit IOFPGA FPD upgrade proces en RP reload tot TAM corruptie herstel.
