Welcome to FY16! My first 9 months at Cisco Canada have been a whirlwind – with lots of positive change, a move to our new Cisco Canada Headquarters in Toronto, hosting Partner Summit in Montreal, delivering the most digital Pan Am/Parapan Am Games to date, and much more.
We start our new fiscal with a renewed vision and energy under Chuck Robbins’ leadership, and with Wendy Bahr leading up our Global Partner Organization.
In Canada, we also have a new Partner Organization lead in Mark Collins. Many of you know Mark from his previous roles at Cisco, most recently, leading Canada Marketing. Mark joined Cisco in 2000, and before taking on Marketing, had a solid background in both sales and channels including manager of Partner Operations, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of our Global Partner strategy; as well as leading Partner Architecture and Business Development teams. In the last three years, Mark took on the challenging Marketing lead role. Together with his team he built a record of success by refocusing on demand generation, developing Cisco Connect into a sustainable national franchise, and most recently managing our Pan Am Games team. Mark and the Cisco Canada Partner team will continue to seek out opportunities to help you achieve your business objectives through meaningful innovation and a relentless focus on partner success.
I’m excited about what the future holds for our business in Canada – and how, working with our partners in new ways, we will help our customers achieve real business outcomes. Thank you for your continuing partnership and here’s to a successful year ahead.
