Military Career Day
A virtual event for transitioning active-duty service members, veterans, and military spouses, hosted by Cisco's VETS Employee Resource Organization. This event is in its 13th year, but for the first time will be available beyond the United States, now to include the United Kingdom, India, and Australia/New Zealand!
The purpose of Military Career Day is to help you on your journey to meaningful employment after military service, no matter where that may be. This event is special because it is organized by veterans and spouses who have gone before you. Our goal is to share with you what you need to know about the transition and guide you through some of the confusion. In the process we hope to highlight what work after service looks like and the many ways that Cisco values top talent like yourselves.
In addition to a great conversation, attendance of this event will unlock access to special gifts after the event, including the potential for mentorship opportunities. If you are a service member, veteran, or military spouse looking for a career change this is the event you need to see!

The topics of the event are focus on helping gain the wisdom of your brothers and sisters in service who came before you. You will learn about the most effective ways to navigate your own career transition and have a chance to drive the discussion through live Q&A by submitting questions in chat. Our goal is to give back to our community by sharing what we learned about our own journey from public service to the private sector, so each generation has increasing success in finding meaningful employment after service. While we do hope you consider your number one choice, this is not a career fair. This is an opportunity to learn, expand your network, and find opportunities & mentors to guide your next steps. We believe in you and hope you get to join our team one day, but what matters most is that you start your next career journey well. Ready, set, go!
